The Girton Racing Team has recently returned from the Shell Eco Marathon in Singapore, having placed an incredible 6th on the track, competing against 26 international Universities, and surpassing teams from the likes of Delhi Technological University, Universiti Brunei Darussalam and the University of Malaysia.
The team, in their battery/electric vehicle, achieved an efficiency score of 243.8km/kWh, which is the equivalent of travelling 2364.9km on one litre of petrol. This was a superb achievement from a dedicated team of budding engineers and designers.
