Year 11 Girton student, Rubi Conti claims 2023 Aerobic International title

Ruby Conti (11 Millward), an exceptional young athlete, has once again proven her mettle by securing the coveted title of 2023 Aerobic International Junior National Champion. Her outstanding performance in the face of adversity has left her supporters bursting with pride.

Not even a sprained back and illness in the lead-up to the competition could hold her back. In the preliminary round, she showcased her skill and resilience, securing a commendable third place. However, it was in the final round where Ruby truly showcased her talent, delivering a mesmerising performance that earned her the gold medal.

Ruby’s journey in competitive Aerobic Gymnastics began at the tender age of five. Over the years, she has dedicated herself to honing her skills and pushing her boundaries. Her passion for the sport has taken her to various levels of competition, including State, National, and International championships, where her determination and spirit has consistently shone through.

In 2022, Ruby participated in the Australian National Championships held on the Gold Coast. There, she competed in the Junior (14-17 Years) International section and emerged triumphant as the National Junior International Champion. This victory further solidified her position as one of the rising stars in the world of Aerobic Gymnastics.
