Congratulations to all our athletes who competed for two days in Shepparton at the ICCES Winter Sports Tour.
The Independent Country Co-Educational Schools (ICCES) Winter Tour is an event made up of tournaments in Basketball, Hockey, Netball and Soccer across a range of age groups.
Having been defeated last year in this competition by one point (by Bacchus Marsh Grammar), this year, Girton has claimed victory by one glorious point, over Bacchus Marsh Grammar!
Here is a summary of the results:
The Junior and Senior Netball teams both won their Grand Finals and the Intermediate team came runners up (by one point!) in their Grand Final.
The Junior girls basketball team came runners up (by one point) in their Grand Final.
The Senior Hockey team was runners up in their Grand Final.
The Senior and Junior boys soccer teams both came runners up in their Grand Finals.

The total tally for all sports in the competition resulted in Girton Grammar being the overall winner.
