Careers OfficeIn Year 10 the focus is on making career decisions, learning how to prepare for job applications (letters, resumés, interviews), participating in Work Experience, gaining tertiary awareness and learning about government assistance (e.g. HECS, youth allowance etc). Students sit the Differential Aptitude Test (DAT) before attending subject selection interviews with Senior Staff to discuss their career options.

Years 11 and 12 students have a VCE General class once per fortnight.  This program includes topics such as stress management, safe partying, examination documentation, GAT training, tertiary and SEAS applications, interview skills and calculating the ATAR.

Presentations include: Australian Taxation Office – Tax File numbers and Centrelink; Driver Education – ‘Look After Your Mates’; Safe Partying and The Interview.  Year 12 Students attend a two day conference in Melbourne at the beginning of each year.
