Instrumental and Voice Studies

If your student is interested in learning or continuing to learn a musical instrument in 2023 please complete the below survey.

https://astra.girton.vic.edu.au/survey/intro/2292

This electronic form must be completed for all new students learning an instrument at School. All students will be placed on a waiting list for the instrument/s chosen, and an Instrumental Music Teacher will be in contact once there is an availability.

Once this electronic form is signed, music lessons will be ongoing from year to year unless notification to cease lessons is received.

Please Note: If you wish to withdraw your child from instrumental lessons, we require four weeks’ notice in writing or by email to the Instrumental Music Teacher and Performing Arts Administrator (performingarts@girton.vic.edu.au). Your account will be charged for four weeks after notification to cease lessons has been received.

Students taking music or voice lessons at school are expected to participate in at least one large school instrumental ensemble or choir. Involvement in regular performances is a part of the normal expectation of students involved in our instrumental program.

If you are unable to access the above survey, please email the Performing Arts Administrator, via performingarts@girton.vic.edu.au with the following information:
