Thirty students from the Girton Grammar Senior School today took part in the Leukemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave event, helping to raise over $20,000 for blood cancer research.
The Junior School will follow suit on Friday 15th March with 11 students so far committed to braving the shave and more than $6,000 raised….and counting.
Girton Grammar Senior School and Junior School have a long history (over 10 years) of raising money and awareness through the World’s Greatest Shave event.
Every year students and teachers pledge their commitment to supporting Leukemia research in this personal way, deepening their understanding of the problem and becoming a part of something bigger than themselves.
