The 134th Foundation Day service on 5th May saw the Sacred Heart Cathedral in full splendor with magnificent music bringing the venue to life.
For the first time, House banners featuring new crests were ceremoniously carried and displayed by students.
Ave Maria, performed by the Girton Chamber Choir and Pie Jesu sung by the Girton Singers were incredibly moving and beautiful music was also performed by Guitar Ensemble, Flue Ensemble, Saxophone Quartet, Clarinet Quartet, Junior School Choir and the Girton Symphony and String Orchestra’s.
